    I would like to join! I had to take a break from MFP because of college but I'm done. I'm getting back on the wagon this week. I didn't gain any weight when I was gone but I didn't lose either. Plans this month include quit drinking pop, start the couch to 5k (hopefully next week, but I have a bad cough right now) and getting back to logging food everyday. I don't have a scale to weigh myself because I'm in the middle of moving.
    This is Day 2 no pop for me :smile:

    I'm not sure what the dates are, but I am hoping to run a 5K this summer and at least 1 triathlon. My goal for this week is to work out everyday for at least 60 min. and complete all of my Couch to 5K Program runs. : ) I'm going to edit this with dates plugged in and I actually weighed in today at 160, so here goes...

    I did 3 over a decade ago, and then life got in the way, but I am ready to do it again! I'm looking to do some runs earlier in the summer and probably won't get to the tri's till Aug. or so... : ) The water in CO is pretty cool and it takes a while to warm up, (that or I'm just being a wimp! HA!)
    Good luck to you as well! Let me know how things are going as you jump back into the season! It's nice when other people are in your weight range so you can be encouraged by their progress!

    Glad to see everyone here! I'm not sure that I'll count last night as one of my days of exercise. I DID do more than my usual 2-3 mile walk. We took an additional walk, which made the total almost 4 miles. However, I need to do more than just walk, I think, to break this plateau I've been on. :ohwell: I'm so close, yet so far, from my goal! :ohwell: Tomorrow night is out for exercise, I have a concert and that will take up most of the evening. Friday I'll be travelling most of the day, so that's out. Sunday I will be visiting the zoo and a science museum. That will involve LOTS of walking. I will DEFINATELY be wearing my HRM for THAT!:laugh: But that means that today, and Saturday are my best bets. I MIGHT be able to squeeze in another either before we leave Friday or after we get back Sunday.

    School is out next week. That will help IMMENSELY in the time department! That is until I start my masters classes in mid-June!:tongue: Got to get it in while I can!

    I'm coming in a little late, but this is a great motivation to get back on track. I peaked last year at 194 lb, lost 20+, and slowly let 10 lb. slip back on. I am looking forward to some accountability and to encourage others to make a healthy lifestyle change as well.

    My goal for this week is to simply log my food consistently again.

    Happy Friday everyone! It's a BEAUTIFUL day here in GA, the sun is shining bright but it's going to be a hot one. Since I'm off today I'm going to mow the lawn before the heat becomes too brutal but I wanted to check in prior to heading out.

    Today is week 3 day 5 of the P90X program and the "Leg and Back" dvd is complete. TOM is still trying to kick my tail but I'm fighting back harder today. Despite the achy body I really tried to bring it this morning and feel pretty good w/the outcome. I have one more day before I begin recovery week and i'm really looking forward to it.

    I just realized I never posted my starting weight. Thank to the May Day challenge I was able to hit my goal weight back in late January/early February so now comes the huge challenge of keeping it off. I've managed to not only keep it off but to also lose a few pounds in the process. I hope to use the Labor Day challenge to remain accountable and to ultimately add tone/definition to my body. My goal is to decrease my body fat %. I don't have a body fat calculator but hope to purchase one in the oncoming weeks. According to a few different websites my body fat% is btwn 21-23%.

    Hi guys!

    Well, my son decided he was going to play with my scale... (as he often does)... and he broke it! : ( While I know weighing yourself everyday isn't necessarily a good thing, I am going to have to get a new scale and I'm a little worried that maybe my old scale was lying to me and I didn't really lose all that weight! : ) HA!

    I don't think I'll have one by weigh in on Monday, but I know I was down a pound earlier this week...

    As far as training goes, I've done all of my training runs for the C25K Program as well as 3 days of circuit training (2 with Jillian Michaels).... kickin' my Butt! ~ I even signed my son up for an obstacle course this fall that finishes with crawling through a giant mud pit! WOOHOO! Should be fun!

    I haven't done so hot with my challenge this week, but my concert is over! Yea! (I'm a middle school and high school music teacher.) The kids did fantastic. Everyone enjoyed it. So now I SHOULD :laugh: have some more free time. :tongue:

    Just a reminder, if you don't weigh in on Monday's, don't do a special one just for us! Just report your weight on your regular weigh in day. We'll still love you!

    Keep making those good decisions! (I pulled an "epic fail" on that today, but I'll be good this weekend!)

    Weight starting this challenge: 313.6
    Goal: lose 30 lbs by Labour Day.
    Goal Weight: 283 lbs. It will be my lowest weight in about 8 years.

    I'm real late but I would like to join this challenge. I started MFP on 4/29 at 205 and when I first weighed in on 5/4 I was 203. I was so excited to lose 2 lbs. But I weighed today and I put a lb back on so now I'm 204. I'm working with a dietician and I speak to her on Monday. So I hope to lose that lb back this weekend. My goal weight is 150. Labor Day is a good day to reach for! My challenge this week is to exercise 5 times a week. I started off good with walking, but I haven't walked in 3 days. Not good.

    Hi everyone! I would like to join this challenge with you :)

    I've lost 25 pounds with MFP so far, and would like to to continue losing, as well as start to tone up. I just ordered JM 30 Day Shred, and am patiently waiting for it to arrive. This week I plan on walking 2-3 miles each night wearing my 20-month old daughter in our ergo baby carrier. The extra weight really makes the walk a lot more challenging, which I enjoy.

    Happy mother's day to all the mom's out there. I hope your children are allowing you to enjoy your day however you desire. My post will be quick today b/c I am about to head out for a little bit and then plan on preparing my clothes and things for the upcoming work week. Today is week 3 day 7 of the P90X program so I completed 30 minutes of stretching.

    I had a great Mother's day! My son took everyone out to lunch at great steak house. I ate half of my shrimp and scallop, boxed the rest. But I did splurged on tiramisu :tongue: It was my big splurge for the week. I did prepare for the day by going to the gym in the morning - over 1300 calories! So I ended up being under my calories intake for the day! :happy: My weigh in is on Wednesdays, so I don't know if I gain any weight over the weekend, but I will have few days to work on it... Today was my 26th day making to the gym!! I am trying to go 30 days straight! I finally signed up for triathlon over the weekend, June 20th. I hope everyone had a great Mother's day!

    Good morning all! It's another beautiful day to the beginning of the work week. Today is week 4 day 1 of the P90X program which means it's RECOVERY WEEK, WooHoo!!!! According to the calendar I was suppose to complete the Yoga workout but switched it out w/the Core Cardio and Balance dvd of the Insanity program. I hadn't completed an Insanity workout in over 4 weeks so it felt good rock out to it this morning. This particular workout is one of my favorites since it doesn't move at such an extreme pace. I'm actually able to complete every last exercise w/no stopping until I get to balance portion. The hip flexor and arm burners are killer moves and I usually have to break a couple of times. I also like this workout b/c it's pretty short. I mean I rocked it out and 37 minutes later it was over.

    I just finished eating a nice hearty bowl of oatmeal w/strawberries and a little added protein powder and it was delicious.

    I'm running a tad behind schedule so I only had a chance to skim the posts. I will try to read everyone's in detail a little later.

    I'm not worried about the 2 lb gain b/c I know it's b/c I ate dinner late last nite and weighed in early this morning. I know I should be back to normal by the end of the week plus it still within my goal weight range.

    Good Morning! Just wanted to check in. I don't have a scale this morning. So I will post next week as my first weigh in. I think I have done pretty well jumping back on the wagon with only a few days of screwing up. I'm traveling home today! going to try to eat healthy and stay within my calories.

    My goal was to stay below my calories every day. I was doing good, but Saturday I blew it! I will continue with this goal because I keep giving in to cravings, and need to learn some self-control!
