You can add me if you like. I am 19 wks. 2 days :) I am trying not to put on to much either. So, I understand. So far I have gained 12 pounds. My goal is only 25 for the whole pregnancy, but don't think that is likely to happen given I'm already at 12 pounds and only 5 months (almost). lol
  • Not Pregger's but congratulations you gals!! Pregnancy is so awesome!!! Keeping active during pregnancy should help steady the weight gain.

Congrats to all the pregnat ladies!!!

I am another preggo here, I am 33 weeks, due in mid march with my 1st.

I started tracking cals not to lose weight, but to make sure I am not over doing it with the food. I am planning on a birthcenter birth and have already gained the recommened 30 pounds, as someone who was a little overweight going into pregnancy, i want to make sure I have a small amount of weight gain till the end.

The midwives and my dr. have been telling me all along, not to gain too much, so I am trying to follow their advice, and make natural childbirth easier on myself and baby.

    Congratulations!

I had my baby 3 months ago. I found lots of support and some great MFP friends in the "Fit, Fabulous & Pregnant" group here. Check it out!

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy! So exciting!!!

You ladies are my inspiration! I'm not preggers yet, but I'm trying to get myself down to a manageable weight before we start trying later next year. Good luck to you all and congratulations!!

I'm 16 weeks pregnant tomorrow too and I've gained 9 lbs since finding out. My doctor said I need to slow it down :-/

Im 16+4 weeks with twins, dont know how much weight ive gained as not weighed yet, at my 12 week scan i had lost weight mainly down to morning sickness and living off a few slices of toast a week, i was at an ideal weight before falling pregnant after using MFP and lost 25lb but rejoined for 2 reasons....1. To make sure im eating enough cals to keep my babys healthy as was so used to eating 1200 a day so i have set it to gain weight and 2. to make sure i dont over do it with crisps, choc etc as until now i couldnt stomach any fruit or veg but currently im craving fruit and veg haha good luck to everyone and add me if youd like as would love to see how everyone else gets on xx

    Good luck xx

Having being pregnant twice, I was fortunate to end up smaller after each pregnancy. Don't go overboard on eating, eat your normal allowance with a few hundred calories on top so your baby gets all he/she needs. I walked a lot even past my due date with my second pregnancy. Trust your own body.

I did gain a bit towards the end but that was mainly baby weight, two nine plus pounders

Hi Ladies. I`m also prego, in the 19th week now. I was a healthy weight about a year ago but gained a massive 40 pounds over the last year before becoming pregnant :( So needless to say, I am anxious about the weight I put on during pregnancy. I am doing my best to stay active and watching what I eat so I don`t go overboard. I just started tracking cals about 2 weeks ago. Feel free to add me :)
