So after a full day of recording. When I go to register my diary of foods and exercise for the day. If I do not eat all of the suggested calories for the day, it tells me I will should lose 20 lbs. in 5 weeks! It also says I could put my body in starvation mode. The next day I ate MORE and came really close to the amount of calories I was supose to eat and after I registered it. It said the same but my weight loss in 5 weeks was like 16 lbs. verses the 20 lbs. ! It sounds to me like starvation is the way to go! I know this is not true. But it certainly is not encouraging for me to try and eat more only to find out I might lose less!

Losing more might mean that you are losing lean body mass instead of just fat. Slow and steady; that's what you want. Less negative consequences that way, more chance of maintaining the loss.0
