fellow heavy lifters, where do you get your gear?

My local academy has some decent weight belts, but most of my athletic stuff comes from walmart. I need some lifting shoes though.

    I prefer Academy and Craigslist. But I don't wear oly shoes, so can't help you there.

    Mostly Academy, but I get my kettlebells at Play It Again Sports.

    I got my belt from Inzer. It's a 10mm Lever Belt, best I've ever had.

    Got my shoes from Rogue (Do-Win's). Belt from Inzer (10mm lever belt). Also picked up a singlet from Inzer - you would only need that for competition.

    13mm belt from inzer - pain in the *kitten* to break in, but definitely worth it
    shoes - vibram Komodo, but I am wanting to try the adipower's just to get more comfortable on squats

    I just wear plain old Converse All-Star high tops for lifting shoes.

    Other than that, straps are Spud Inc. from southcarolinabarbell.com. Haven't bothered trying using anything else.
