Dr. Perricone is on the same level as Dr. Oz--his supplement and diet advice is not respected by his peers.
If you feel you must take something, take a multivitamin along with your healthy eating and exercise.0 -
Dr. Perricone is also known for his super expensive "miracle fix" skin care line that I spent mega bucks on as a teenager to fix my acne and it did nothing. Nothing at all. I call bull****.0

Me..I wouldn't buy any I'm just not into supplements.0

Weight loss comes from calorie deficit not supplements.

If you are looking for a quick fix, look into liposuction0

None of them.0

None. They are a money scam. I do have Glutamine that I add to my water after a particularly nasty round of weight training to help my muscles recover. But anything marketed as a "weight loss supplement" is just a waste of money0

Thanks guys!! Im not looking for quick solution I know better but I thought I could "improve" my results with a supplement. but no pain no gain and im actually enjoying my routine.0

I would defiantly buy it...in bulk....and sell it to dim people...
Seriously, don't waste your money.

I have taken that supplement before. I also use Perricone skin care. If you just choose one facet of his approach, it will not work. When I first tried his skin care, I couldn't use most of the products because they would break me out. He talks about an anti-inflammatory diet and a tiered approach of diet, supplements, and skin care to help correct skin issues. I just tried a couple of products, and I thought they were helpful, but not the best thing I've ever tried. I do take some of his supplements, but just once a day and not 3 times a day. I love them because they are high quality and they work.
His Metabolic Formula really does energize you and reduce appetite. You are supposed to follow the diet recommendations that he has (egg white shakes with coconut oil and blueberries, etc.). I did not do that. I did lose about 3 lbs, but once I stopped taking those supplements, my appetite came back with a ferociousness.
I don't love taking appetite suppressants or trying fixes like that because of the yoyo effect. I believe the combo has helped my skin. Now, I still can't use some of his skin care -- luckily, the cheapest stuff works for me.0 -

If I were you, I'd buy yummy fruits and veggies instead of supplements.0

I read it and honestly none of them; I use caffeine to help control hunger and boost work outs but mostly here are my secrets: 1) whole flax seeds added to meals, super filling 2) lots of fiber 3) high protein at all meals 4) high fats for the rest of your meals, lowish NET carbs 5) intense exercise for mood, muscle retention, and appetite suppression
Hope this helped a bit, good luck0
