The "mommy pouch"

So, does this ever go away? I carried a lot of fluid when I was preggo and I feel like it's never going anywhere!! Suggestions?

Look up diastasis recti exercises, that helps sometimes :)
  • I have also heard about what sbjmorgan mentioned. After the birth of my second child, my stomach area has not been the same. I am wearing clothing sizes I feel good about, but I have lower belly fat that looks horrible when I sit down, and if I wear jeans that have a lower waistline. I am hoping that if I can lose some fat overall this will help with this ugly thing.

Are you talking about loose skin or excess fat?

For loose skin, focus on lifting. Dead lifts and squats are great for this.

For excess fat, spot reduction is impossible so you'll have to lose more weight overall until it comes off where you want it to. Again, lift to preserve lean tissue while eating at a defict.

It takes time, dedication, and a healthy diet but it will go away and the above comment is correct, LIFT-LIFT-& LIFT EVEN HEAVIER!
