New here, what happens when I add someone as a "friend"? Not sure I understand this aspect of MFP- just joined 2 weeks ago. Thanks!

Their comments / exercise / food diary results etc will show up in your news feed and that can help with motivation0

Think of friends as your cheering squad/help. I did MFP a year ago and barely interacted with anyone, and I think it was one of the reasons I didn't stick with it. This time i expect that someone looks over my shoulders, reads my diary, and I give lots of feedback to my friends, and so far, so good. I'm on it almost a month now.
Feel free to add me.0 -
I think it is important to find "friends" on here because they help with everything. I have tried to this before and didn't talk to people much but am looking to try again and be more active with people.0
