Does anyone know if I go by total calories taken in or by net calories after my workout?

I think the best way would be to log what you would normally eat for at least a week first, just to see how many calories you are eating to maintain your current weight. From there change the ratio of fats/carbs/protein to whatever your goals are ie:losing weight or building muscle. When you reach a plateau its more than likely that youre going to have to cut down carbs a little bit but do it slowly theres no need to cut 200 calories the next day. I would only cut 40 calories at a time (10 grams of carbs)0 -
