oh board games! Monopoly, Aggravation, UNO, Life, Match, Barrel of Monkey ( ), play-doh, Jo-Ann the blonde doll with the hair that grew, barbies, barbies and MORE barbies, Skipper, Ken ack, he was ok I guess.

I ALWAYS wanted a GI Joe but guess it was too boy-ish, grew up with 5 girls in the house. lol No trucks for us. Sandbox, Ants in the Pants, Hide and Seek, Freeze Tag, Mother May I, Ice Statues, Ougi board(spelling:blushing:  ) geesh, it's so easy to think of more as I read this thread from time to time. :)

Great thread, whoever started it, fun to look back

Oh yes, pick up stix and Monopoly. My mom used to always cheat to get Boardwalk and Park place. There were six of us kids and we each had our favorite piece. Mom's was the thimble, mine was the shoe, I think Mellie Bellie's was the dog. Can't remember what the other's always used. What fun memories. I remember playing with Lincoln logs too.

I grew up in southern Louisiana so I'd have to say a pellet gun and a fishing rod. Oh, and I can't forget my baseball glove. I was a huge tom boy....until I wasn't.

I had a little dog that I slept with every night - took him to college with me and still have him - his name is Sally (I was a little confused...)
I also had a blankie and yes... still have it... sadly, it went to college with me too.

I loved dolls of all kinds but mostly my cabbage patch kids and koosa dolls.
    I liked Lite Brite
Crayons and coloring books - especially Barbie coloring books - her hair was so much fun to color - I was an expert at highlights!
    slip and slide
    sit and spin
    my record player
    roller skates
    paddle ball
    jump rope
dress up clothes... I liked to dress up as a "mommy" - which in my house meant a skirt suit (with shoulder pads) and heels. LOL!
