Be patient.

We've all dreamt about "The Day"--the glorious morning when we step on the scale and that magic number blinks into view. :smile:

But eventually, the novelty may wear off, right? And as you settled into your daily routine, your journey began to seem tedious. Perhaps your weight loss slowed or you hit a plateau. If depression and despair threaten your goals, remember that patience is the key.

Action for the day: Parenting, like other life journeys, is often described as a "marathon" rather than a "sprint." Today, have a mini-marathon of your own. Take a walk around the neighborhood, but instead of turning it into a workout, force yourself to slow down and enjoy the outdoors. And if there happen to be roses along your path, be sure to take a whiff. :flowerforyou:
