I was eating 1300-1400 per day and exercising 3x a week. I didn' lose any weight. After reading on MFP, I upped my calories this week to 1654 (TDEE- 20%)and a few 100 more on the days I work out.
For the last 2 days, I have been feeling extraordinarily hungry. Almost to the point of headaches. I used to feel totally satisfied before. Anyone else go through this?

I have heard of this happening. I believe when you're eating way too low, your body's response to hunger changes and you don't get the hunger pangs because your body essentially doesn't think you'll feed it anyway. When you up your calories some, things start to function normally again and your body will turn this function back on so to speak. Based on what you're describing, you may try to eat foods that are more satiating. Generally foods higher in fat and/or protein satisfy longer.0

Hi
Similar thing happened to me in the last couple of weeks. I was trying to maintain 1300-1500 calories per day. At the advice of my trainer, I increased to around 2000 and am hungry every couple of hours. Hello metabolism
