Does anyone know how to GET a format on here. I tried to find 3 very popular classes and NOT one was on here. 1) Turbo Kick, I don't know how much it burns, but it's way more than regular kick box. 2) TRX 1 hour class it's hard core , but I have no idea how much I burn and finally Piyo,, I tried typing in Yoga, but it says 187 for one hour.. if you have ever done piYo you know this is off by several hundred..

Using a HRM would be more accurate.
  • Would you please explain it to us IronSmasher? How would you do it without the use of a heart rate monitor? It would sure be helpful. So far I have been guessing based on my current weight in lbs. X by 2.2 to convert to kg and factor in my age... to get my Resting Metabolic Rate. So I have a baseline number without any activity.
Which I won't share here, cause that's private.. :) Then..
I factor in my TEE, Which is Thermic Effect of Exercise.. Here's the rub.. I haven't been wearing a Heart Rate monitor so my numbers are based on what I feel is easy, moderate, hard... YOu get the picture. The trouble is I currently don't wear a hear rate monitor.. So these are crude numbers, which I am guessing I am over or underestimating.. So I was hoping, that some of the classes I teach might be on here, so I could just plug and play since this site has my , weight, age, height, and RMR... Thus the question. In the future I will avoid asking any questions that I should " already have answers to". Have an awesome day.
