Trying to lose, feeling unmotivated

Hey, I'm 25 and I've been overweight since I was about 18. I was at my heaviest around 250 4 years ago. I'm now hovering between 200 and 210, and I still have 50-60 pounds to lose. I'm feeling really unmotivated lately. I'm usually too tired after running around after a toddler all day, or too depressed to feel like it's worth it to try.

Anybody have any advice for exercising with a 1 year old under foot? Feel free to add me : )

  • You should try including your child in the workout for instance lay on your back put your child on your legs in a sitting position and lift them up its fun for them and a nice workout for you. There are other things you can do including your child that you can use your child as part of your routine.

I used to play tag with my son and it was a real cardio workout, plus the benefit of playing so that even he will knock out quickly 'cause he got tired too.
  • Thanks : )

exercise not really that big of deal, diet! diet! diet! DIE! It!

for me personally do something you really enjoy when it comes to exercise running (Ewwwk), sports (tennis, swimming, basketball, football), jazzercise, yoga, walking, strength training, etc etc etc!!!

i love basketball and lifting so for me it is easy to workout because i really enjoy doing it!
  • try throwing on some music and dancing around with them. I have yet to see a niece or nephew of mine that doesnt start to bounce around when they hear something. 15 or 20 minutes of dancing is a great start to workout and could lead to your baby wanting to go to bed early so maybe you can get in a few of your own exercises.

Thank you : ) I'm actually trying to find cheaper yoga classes near me. I'm focusing more on exercise because the weight I've lost so far is all thanks to changing my diet and heating more healthy foods. Now, I just have to drop the stubborn fat and tone up.
