  • Haggis and neeps and tatties(potatoes and turnips). It was quite good and I'd eat it again but for that I need to wait a couple of months, not quite time for the Scottish Fair yet.

Probably most "out there" thing I can recall is an unagi roll - eel sushi. It was pretty damn good!
  • Goat Brains and stomach - I now hate eating any and all animal organs :/

Intentionally, probably pigs trotter, I remember liking them but the thought turns my stomach now.

Unintentionally, half a slug. Silly teenage smoker who thought if I grabbed & ate a handful of mint leaves from the bush I wouldn't be found out. Munched away and looked at the remaining leaves and there was a half a slug!

Rocky mountain oysters are awesome!! I have also eaten beef, lamb and turkey "oysters" and must say turkey are far and away the best of the group. A little like popcorn.
Have also eaten alligator, snake, ground hog, raccoon and beaver. (would not recommend the last 2)
  • Cheetos dipped in mashed potatoes. One day in my teens, I got a craving for exactly that even though I'd never had it before. (No I wasn't high or pregnant) It was divine. I've had it since, but it's never the same
  • sauteed jelly-fish at an asian wedding. absolutely no taste if it weren't for the garlic and other condiments and as rubbery/chewy as can be - but initially thought it was a rice noodle as that is how it was presented. Have say there are some things that are not intended to be eaten...

My Filipino ex tricked me into eating a bunch of stuff, and would then tell me what is was after we were done. Dinuguan, for one. It's a stew made with pig's blood and I really enjoyed it, but the list of ingredients made my stomach churn.

I also have Cajun family, so of course I have eaten gator in many preparations.

When I was a toddler my mom had to hide the Crisco shortening or I would eat it by the spoonful! Also ate some dry cat food back then. Ate escargot as an adult, no matter how much garlic butter is involved once you take it out of the shell you are eating a slug. And one night, I was gorging on Peanut MM's, dropped a handful, picked them up and came very very close to eating a kitten turd! Thank god I realized it wasn't candy coated LOL.

MMM love aligator! Hmm Lions, Pythons and Yaks Oh my! Its all tasty. I gave my 4yr old snails for the first time 2 weeks ago. If I knew how to post the video of him talking about how tasty the snails in snail butter were, I would. He had alligator before he was 2.
