I'm happy: 1/3 of this frozen pizza = 240calories. Yum :]

There is a pizza they sell at Jewel and Walmart called (Palermo's) Classics. I purchase the cheese because we don't eat me. I was pleasantly surprised then my brother let me know that 1/3 of the pizza is only 240 calories! It is a 12" pizza. It doesn't have that much cheese, but even if I add 1/2 cup of fat free cheese, it only adds about 100-200 calories to the entire pizza. It is good without the extra cheese too. I think 720 calories for an entire pizza is spectacular. I'm happy now. Lol. P.S. I don't care if it is the healthiest food because I love pizza and there is no way I will remove it from my lifestyle. Also, if you add fat free cheese (I use Everyday Essential from Jewel) and only eat 1/3 or 1/2 of the pizza, it has a nice fat to protein ratio. I just wanted to share for people who don't always have time to cook a pizza fresh, but may want to enjoy one on those busy days. If you know of any other lowish calorie pizzas or surprisingly low calorie foods, let me know!

proteins, carbs, fats?
240 calories, 27g carbs, 17g fat 17g protein if you eat 1/3 of it without adding anything to it.
When I add 1/4 cup of fat free mozzarella cheese (45 calories), it goes up to 285 calories, 29g carbs 17g fat 26g protein.
I would not tell people to live on this, but I definitely appreciate having low calorie, convenient pizza to eat if I ever have a craving for some. I'm sure it will be even better if I add some fresh veggies when I cook it. xo0 -

sounds like a good meal, but I probably couldn't just stop at one whole pizza if it's just 12 inches. maybe at least 4 then i'd be satisfied for 2 hours.0 -

Too true! LOL I can split an 18in pizza or eat my own no problem, & I'm 5'4". I only posted for 1/3 of the pizza because most people on here are not like me. I would eat the entire thing or split it with my husband!0 -
Haha! I downed a whole Tostino's Pizza from Walmart for lunch. 740 calories. VERY convenient since I needed extra calories for the day. I just didn't like the 4g of trans fat though T_T0

You should try the Cauliflower Crust Pizza recipe if you want to eat a pizza that's healthier than a regular one but just as tasty.
