how do I post a pic?

I know this has been explained a billion times, but I have never wanted to post a pic until now and of course, NOW I don't remember what everyone said about how to do it!

    Put brackets [ ] around img and /img.

    The pic has to be on the web somewhere. You can't upload one directly to the site.

    Yes. Sorry it took me a while to get my post to show up. When I used the brackets in place, the text wouldn't show because the site thought I was trying to post and image, lol!

    I used the brackets and got a white box with a red X in it.
    Pretty sure that's not a good thing. lol
    How do I avoid that?

    Try using another random pic of the web. If it works, then maybe you can't use photobucket.

    make sure the URL ends in .jpg and isn't the URL for the page... just the URL for the image.

    It didn't like photobucket.... So I took the image URL.
