Been a long time coming, but this is the fight of my life.

I've been using the app and tracker now for a couple of weeks and this is keeping me on track, I believe, to make a long term change. My life has some major changes coming, none of it was planned, but I will use these changes to launch a new me.
My 40th birthday was last October and I've got to change if I wish to enjoy life with my children.

My life of DrPepper and Doritos has to stop, I still eat some, but not daily and not at every meal.

My exercise level will increase. It has to.

I'm glad to have found a supportive and free community like this one!

Good luck on your journey, you sound determined which is a good thing. I have only been on here for five days but am finding it brilliant for tracking and keeping an eye on the different levels of protein, carbs etc that I'm eating.
Keep at it and keep us updated on your progress.

Good on you! I feel like I'm FINALLY getting a grip, and I'm glad this site exists. Who knew journaling and connecting with others would be the key I've been missing?

Welcome! You'll find a lot of support here from people in the same boat as you.

I'm very happy for you that you've decided to make this huge change. Dr. Pepper is a hard thing to give up! Feel free to add me, I'd love to watch your weight loss journey and hopefully we can help each other stay on track.

Watch Forks over Knives with your wife, the watch Fat Sick and Nearly Dead for motivation and direction.
    Doritos is loaded with MSG.
    I too like this site.
There ought to be a place to track blood pressure and cholesterol.
