I LOVE that they didn't explain the aliens. I am perfectly content knowing that Thomas and Julia are successful and that Kit didn't actually die but just "disappeared".

Now for the rest of it........
Lana Winters...marry me! HA. I know we are supposed to love/hate this character but I love/love her. I *knew* once she took the gun from Johnny that SHE was going to shoot HIM. Pefect!

Sister Jude had one of the most moving death scenes I've seen in a while. I love Kit for helping her out those last six months of her life. The 'special' children knew how to calm her down, I'm glad that wasn't explained either. It's up to the viewer to interpret and I think that sometimes that is the best way to settle a story plot.

A lot of people online are saying that Lana was never actually committed to Briarcliff because of the flashback they showed between her and Sister Jude at the end of this episode. If that is the case then I wonder how she met Kit, Oliver (Bloody Face), etc. There are way too many 'holes' in the story if she was never committed.

What do you guys and gals think? She made it all up for the book or most of it actually happened?

I have it DVRd and I haven't watched it yet, but I love spoilers, so I had to read this and find out what happened. I'm reading online that there were some clues given out about next season. What did you think about that?

I've given this a lot of thought and I am *pretty* sure there will be a "witch" and perhaps a voodoo aspect. I am super excited about it.

All in all, after really liking last season, I was disappointed in this season. It just seemed to convoluted, for lack of a better way to put it. Demons, aliens, serial killers, just too much with not enough development on any single point. That being said, I will be watching it next year.
  • I had tears in my eyes when Sister Jude died. I'm not one bit ashamed to admit it, either!

I agree with djeffreys10. The second season was all over the place. However, I still liked it and will definitely watch season 3. I'm very excited that Sarah Paulson will be back for season 3 and hopefully Jessica Lange too.

Sarah Paulson  (thank you GOD), Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Taissa Farmiga and Lily Rabe are all coming back for season 3.

There were aspects of the first season that I liked a lot better. Sara Paulson, Jessica Lange and Evan Peters made the season, IMHO. Oh, and Adam Levine because he is my secret boyfriend.

I hope the next story is completely different though. I like how they change things up but keep brining back the same actors.

That show always leaves me with a WTF did i just watch feeling. Even the finale left me like that...it's like too much all at once. i think i might have missed an episode because one minute the nazi dr was there and the next he wasnt...and the preist was crucified and the next he wasnt...and what happened to the crazy santa guy?

I completely agree. I love that Sarah Paulson had a bigger role in Season 2 than she did in Season 1......because she is my secret girlfriend

Ryan Murphy has said that there were "hints" to what season 3 would be about in Season 2. Something that sticks out in my head is an orphanage. Now that would be creepy.

Priest - was attacked by crazy demon nun (HE WASN"T! this is an edit) and hung up on the cross. The Angel of Death came to him and told him he still had work to do on this Earth so he lived through that.

Demon Nun - was thrown off the side of the 3 story "stairway to heaven" in the asylum by the Priest (the work he needed to do on the earth before he died was to kill her and release her from her demon)

Nazi Dr. - Convinced the Priest to cremate the Demon Nun instead of burying. He did the cremation himself and right before putting her body in the fire to cremate it, he climbed on top of her, hit a button and the table they were laying on was automatically pushed into the fire. So he pretty much killed himself.

    Anything else??

Oh wait I'm wrong. Demon Nun didn't crucify Priest dude---crazy santa guy did. Then he escaped and was never heard from again.

Realllly creepy, indeed! Oooh, that would be a great story line. I can't wait to see what Evan Peters does with his next character. I mean how different are Kit and Tate?! He really is a great actor. I was watching One Tree HIll reruns the other day (don't judge!) and he was on there!

The only issues I had this season were the random aliens. I mean, why Kit? What made him special? Were the children part Alien?

But, it's AHS and if we didn't have questions after it ended it wouldn't be Ryan Murphy.

I can't wait for next season.

Yeah I have read a lot of people being p!ssed about not explaining the alien thing. But like you said, that's Ryan Murphy for you. Personally, I didn't mind that it wasn't explained. I like that they left that issue unresolved so the viewer can make up their own mind.

I love Evan Peters. I liked Tate in the beginning but the more we learned about him the less I liked him and by the end I didn't care for him at all. I agree, Evan Peters is a brilliant actor. I loved Kit so much. He plays evil and sweet all too well.

But as always, the cast really shined. I wish Evan Peters would get noticed more for his work on AHS. I'm happy to see Lily Rabe will be back though!

I may be a little biased (okay a lot) but I was shocked that Sarah Paulson wasn't nominated for a Sag Award....even more shocked that Claire Danes (Homeland) won over Jessica Lange. Really??? Really????? lol I think Sarah Paulson was phenomenal as Lana Winters.

I agree though, Evan hasn't been nominated for anything for Tate/Kit. I really hope his name gets out there because he is quite the actor.

I just found out about Lily Rabe today. That's awesome. This cast together is just fantastic.
