A bit confused....Setting realistic goals??

Hi all :)
I'm a 25 year old girl from Australia. I've just completed the C25k and I'm now working on C210k and going okay, my question for the more experienced exercisers is this: what is a realistic body goal to set for someone who works and/or studies and is willing to watch diet but not be obsessive about it (i.e. no weighing every meal, eating takeout 1 time a week etc)? I have access to a full home gym weight machine and I plan to continue running as cardio (I've signed up for a half marathon!) the question is how much of each? And what can I expect if I work hard and stick at? Here is an example of my dream body:

I like the one where she's running the best :) I don't expect to have 10% body fat and a 6 pack but is a body like that or a bit softer realistic? For example in these body fat examples I think that the 18-22% looks great:

I'd be more than happy with that! But is it a realistic goal?
I'm 5'6 and currently weigh about 67kg I'd like to get to 60-62kg. I've been to 57kg before but I was miserable and it was unmaintainable for me.
I'm looking forward to your advice :)

I am 5'6" and looking to get down to 160lbs or 72kg which is supposed to be a healthy weight. Perhaps try aiming for what would be best for your approximate BMI as that's definitely realistic then reassess after you've reached it. That's what I plan to do xx
  • Thanks for your reply Kelly :) I'm within my healthy BMI I guess its more an aesthetic thing :) And my desire to run a half marathon :)
