Got this from an earlier post by weightlossthomas

    Minutes to Prepare: 5-10
    Minutes to Cook: 20
    Number of Servings: 12

    Ingredients

    3/4 cup all purpose flour
    1/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1 Tbs baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/8 tsp salt
1 cup mashed bananas (About 3 medium)
1/4 cup SPLENDA, No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated (Measures the same as sugar)
1/4 cup applesauce (I use no sugar added)
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. Grease muffin tin or use paper muffin liners.
    3. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
    4. In a separate bowl, beat banana, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Stir in applesauce.
    5. Stir in flour mixture.
    6. Pour/scoop batter into muffin cups. About 3/4 full.
    7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the muffin comes out clean.

    Makes 12 servings

The first time I made these I used muffin cups. It stuck very bad, next time I will just grease the pan to avoid the stick.

These are so good, they taste just like banana bread! You could even make banana bread instead of banana muffins with the recipe!

You could use any recipe you want, just repace the sugar for splenda and add appelsauce instead of butter.
But watch out as it does change the texture!
I prefer to only swap halve the sugar for splenda to help keep a nice texture
and do the same with the appel sauce and butter.
Also a lot of recipes use more chocolate then you need, so add about halve of that and your good to go :)
