Suddenly sore and tired after gym

Hi there! I have always had exercise in my life but to add variety to my usual cross trainer, 30 DS I joined a gym. I started off 4 weeks ago and do 5 classes a week both strength and cardio. The first few weeks I was fine but in this last week after each class I have been extremely tired and quite sore after my strength classes. Any ideas why? Thanks ;-)

    Working out too much with no rest for your muscles. Need more protein? More calories in general to support the extra work? Just minimally educated guesses.

    Thanks Barb...I eat heaps of protein so can't be that...stick to the same eating and do the same classes every week. Just a little confused as to why it has happened just in this last week

    Some times you just need a break. Take a day or two off and see what happens. Also make sure you are get adequate protein, water and calories to fuel your workout and repair. :flowerforyou:

    ETA: Maybe your body has been running off it's energy stores for the past few weeks?
