back strengthening exercises

I've had some issues with my lower back, and the doc recommended me some super light back-strengthening exercises. The thing is, that they are super boring... I do them every day, but I really hate them. Before my injury, I was doing insanity, so if anyone could recommend me something similar, but with a lower intensity, that would be very appreciated:)

You can strengthen your back doing lots of bodyweight stuff - squat, lunge, push-up, plank, supermans, etc. The compound movements employ lots of core stabilization and lower back benefits greatly from that. Also - have you tried Turbo Jam (not Fire, that is way more intense) - it is fun and awesome for strengthening your back!!0

Would these lower back issues be associated with hyperlordosis? or anything to do with the imbalance of the hips and the spine? If so then use the corrective nature of the front squat. And use the Olympic grip over the hand-over-hand grip as that would facilitate thoracic kyphosis.0

I can't speak for OP but I have pretty dramatic lordosis... How much weight would you suggest starting out for front squats? I can only comfortably hold about 30-35lb hand weights aloft for a few seconds0 -
in my case it's a mild scoliosis, it's not that bad yet, and I want to correct it while I still can.:)0
