OK so today is the first day I devour so much chocolate. I kept my craving down and lost 4 pounds. Now, I ate so much chocolate that would fill in for all that self control! How do you all keep your cravings down?!

I have a problem with chocolate and peanut butter. To keep from going absolutely crazy, I eat it every day in small portions. For example, chocolate+peanut butter protein shake. Or peanut butter on ezekiel bread, or chocolate spread (like nutella) on ezekiel bread etc. I lose weight without going over in my calories, and I'm satisfied0

Craving chocolate is something I struggle with however when I buy a bar of chocolate I immediately break it up into pieces of 3 then wrap them up in tin foil and know the calories in that. Personally when I worked out the calories in just three pieces I was a little shocked but I find it more satasfying and eat it slower, plus it lasts longer!
I've heard about switching to dark chocolate but I don't enjoy it as much. You could also try drinking chocolate I'm not sure where you live but in the Uk we have Highlight, low cal and yummy chocolate smell and taste.0 -
when you deprive yourself its so easy to binge! have a small piece a day or i guess if you indulge one day a week and eat so much, then the rest of the week you will feel guilty so try and avoid it !0

that is my weakness chocolate I'm to scared to even try one piece because I'm afraid I wont stop...I know that sounds bad but its the truth I don't know if I can control myself.0

The more U say no the more U want it. Treat ur self once a week it's what I do that way I don't feel bad and it pushes you to be good all week so you feel worthy of that treat0

I have some chocolate nearly every day. Worked for me.
I doubt you ate enough to gain 4 lbs, that would be a seriously massive amount of chocolate.0 -
factor your chocolate into your calorie allowance. And I'll tell you right now whats making you crave it... SUGAR!!! It's like poison.
It takes at least 3 days for the sugar to work its way through your bloodstream and the whole time, its sending you signals that you must have it, that you need it... but its just the sugar on its way out.
Let it get out and ignore it. At first it seems nearly impossible, but I used to be hypoglycemic and would have killed my own mother to get to anything refined (white bread, rice, pasta.. all which cause the same sugar problems) and lollies, etc
I had to give it all up to get better and I thought I was going to die.
I eat as much unprocessed food as possible, but I have learnt not to deny yourself a treat or you go crazy and eat all the chocolate you can get your hands on.
I really believe its the thought of having to give everything up that you loved that makes you go crazy.
Dont be scared of food. You can love food and still lose weight, you just have to fit it into your daily allowance.
Treat yourself like you are smart enough to work this out instead of being scared of yourself and your lack of control.
Dont make yourself feel like a failure. You can get this sorted!!!!
The more you obsess over the chocolate the more you will feel like you have no control.
Fit it in to your lifestyle and dont make it more important than it is.... its just another food and food is our fuel not our enemy.
Good luck!!!!0
