    i think i did my math right. i am out of the the 40s. i only have 2.7 to hit my goal. in all these years of the sixers i have never hit my goal. i don't think i have ever lost this much in a challenge either. i don't care i am thrilled at the number. this is where i have issues of the scale. doesn't matter what i do it bounces between here and 240. this was the line in the sand the doctor was talking about. my body has made it's mark.

    nothing on the calendar today. thinking i might take the day and read.

    ~well i lost 3 of the lbs i gained..... right direction... i saw 262 on saturday .... so either the muscle over weight plus water issue is hindering that ..... at least im closer ,,,,,, want to work hard in the next two weeks .......... so i can make my challenge goal ...... i adjusted my GW to 260 :bigsmile:

    Cathy and Amy - AWESOME JOB! Very inspiring.

    I'm going to weigh in tomorrow to keep it real, but since it's the TOM and I am feeling every second of it, I'll be happy to be no more than 145 lb.

    Lorna...good morning!

    Well...I am the same as last week...bummer! But I suppose it's better than gaining. And I didn't do well at all over the weekend, so I'm probably holding onto weight from then! But it's okay!

    Last night was pretty good. Got in some jogging on the treadmill (about a half hour) and did my 15 minute Ab workout! Too bad it was raining...I SO want to try out my new stroller! Ate more than was planned, but managed to stay within my calorie limit.

    Goals for this week:
    1. No extra evening snacking! (I've started being bad about this again!)
    2. Jogging at least two times this week...either treadmill or outside!

    Plan for today:
    B-oatmeal, 1/2 c. skim milk, 2 c. coffee, 4 tbsp. sugar-free creamer
    S-trail mix bar, banana
    L-1/2 c. fat free cottage cheese, 15 fire-roasted vegetable TLC crackers, baby carrots, light yogurt
    S-golden delicious apple
    D-Chipotle BBQ pork loin, red potatos, green beans
    S-2 reduced fat graham crackers, cool whip free

    Exercise:
    15 minute lower body, 2 mile walk (if the weather allows)

    My sister is coming over tonight (she's home from Minnesota) and so we will walk if it's nice enough. Otherwise I don't know that I will get in any cardio this evening. But if not, I will tomorrow for sure!

    Hey ladies great job Amy, Cathy and Kristin way to go!!

    I am not happy with the scale but still proud of myself, I have increased workout and added weights so I have a lot more energy than usuall. Plus I made myself go to the gym last night at 8:30 even though my gym buddy was not coming.

    Now to work on my eating... This is my downfall but I will get it under control someday.

    Okay so i am so angry at myself I wish I could physically beat myself up! :( I not only didnt get up and go to the gym (my cell died in the middle of the night apparently and I barely woke up in time to get to work!) But I was in such a frenzy leaving the house that I forgot to weigh in!!!!!!! :( I will weigh in tomorrow... but it sucks... cuz I am going to my going away party tonight and I know I will be drinking... which is weight and calories I prolly wont need... gah. this sucks.

    Well gratz everyone!! You are sooo amazing. I wish I was like you guys :(

    Lost a lb from last week! :smile: Not happy about how. I had a great mother's day until Sunday night when I ended up getting sick. I lost weight literally overnight. Yesterday morning I weighed in at 155. I didn't eat much yesterday, but I still did eat. Feeling better today, but I don't have as much energy.

    hope everyone is having a great day.

    we had an earthquake of a big 2.8. DH and i laughed when a lady called and said she left it in bed. yea, right. i shouldn't be like that. i was born and raised in california so i know me some earthquakes. an accident that killed two people yesterday is bothering me. i don't know them, they were here visiting for bike week. my heart is so heavy when i heard. i don't know why.

    well need to get in a little treadmill work and than shower and store. insurance approved my new shots, so i need to go get those. and they are working my numbers have dropped.

    good golly miss molly....i just tried my weight loss preset workout on my treadmill. it was the best workout i have had in a very long time. a good sweat, pushed me out of the easy comfort box i was in. will do again tomorrow, depending on how sore i am. that darn hamstring is still bothering me. it pushed my speed, incline all the way up to 7 which i have done, but at a low speed of 2.8 their speed was 3.5. now for a shower and off to walmart......

    Last night was pretty good. I didn't end up making my pork loin...will do that tonight. Had left-over chili again...which is what I'm also having for lunch today. Did end up having some ice cream (BOO!) but still stayed within calories! Did get in a walk with Kadence and my sister and used my new jogging stroller! YAY! I LOVE it!!! Can't wait to actually jog with it...which unfortunately won't be tonight since it's pouring rain! Oh well!

    Way to go on your work out!!! I am so happy they approved your shots, it is nice when insurance actually works, I know from personal experience.

    Well today is off to a ok start, got up before my dd so that helps, but just dont seem to have much energy today, have been feeling a little under the weather. Need to run to the bank and then the store, it the rain stays away I think me and dd may walk to both places, I always feel better after getting some fresh air.

    afternoon ladies.

    not much new in the neighborhood. just muggy and sticky. i don't like this weather. feels like the air may have to go back on. yucky there goes my elec bill again. i don't turn it on if i don't have to.

    may run to the store in a few. son finally got his first unemployment check today, yea. that means he won't have to move back home. it only took 12 weeks. i told him to pay his water, and pay what he needed to keep his power on. than next week work on the rest of power and some rent. his landlord has been great and hasn't asked for rent in two months. it's only 375, they may own the trailer and are helping him out. he will get just over 200 a week. he already gets food stamps so he should be good to go. i may set up a budget for him.

    OHHH I am soooo angry! I was two pounds away from reaching my goal! I wish I had gone to the gym!!! I would have prolly made my goal! But gosh! 5.4 POUNDS! Im happy, particularly for not exorcising for the last month... need to get back on the exorcise wagon so I can really kick butt!!

    nothing for today. son coming over, now that he has gas money. think i will do a quick budget for him to ponder. he should be able to do it himself, but, he's a male and money burns a hole in his pocket. he has been wanting things to build a mac computer. i think this may hinder his needs over his wants.

    Cathy...Hope your son gets things all figured out. And yes, I got to go for a walk with the new stroller...but haven't jogged yet.

    B...5.4 is GREAT! Keep it up!! And we still have this week and week 6...so you can still work towards your goal!

    AFM...Well...I had a bit of a slip up last night...and I'm hoping I can have more control...I made brownies...frosted brownies at that....and I ended up eating THREE of them! Worst part is, I cut the pan into 12 big brownies...looked at the nutrition info on the box and it's for 1/20th of the recipe! AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!! So...I ate like a billion calories in those three brownies!!!! What a total bummer! I'm going to cut up the rest of the pan so it's really just one serving per piece!!! NEVER buying those again! I did get in my 15 minute lower body workout last night, but that was it. It was rainy, cold, and I was exhausted...spent most of the evening on the couch! But I did weigh myself this morning to see if I had gained 10 pounds from those brownies, and I'm excited to report that I am actually under my weigh-in weight by 1/2 pound! So, I'm hoping that if I can work hard, I can still see a loss by next week!

    Todays plan:

    Stepped on the scale this morning and it said 149!!!! There's no way in the world that's fat weight. I have spent most of the day bawling (stupid hormones), so I'm not even counting it this week. If it's still there next week, then maybe I'll readjust my thinking. But posting because I want to still stay part of the group :)

    Sorry for griping so much guys. You and my husband get an earful. At least you get to decide whether or not to read. My poor man just has to sit there and listen lovingly, which he does well. Good thing it's too cold for the bathing suit this weekend at the beach. Still need to keep focused though on eating healthy (although it doesn't seem to be doing any good - wonder if I'd feel worse if I wasn't?)

    I'll be out for the rest of the week and not taking a computer. So everyone have a great one. See you on next week's challenge.

    Hey Sorry Girls but I have been so busy that I didn.t even relize that today was thursday and I haven't weighed in this week! Please forgive me but I am not going to either. I will be back next week hopefully with good results. Work is so busy right now that I can't even think. I am out of the house first thing in the morning and not back home until late and just exhasted, dirty and ready to shower, eat and go to bed. As most of you know this is my time of the year when my work rocks. Oh yes I hope you all had a wonderful Mothers Day as I did. My daughter came over and we worked on plans for the engagement party that she is planning for Tony and I. I love all you much and miss you too. I will chit chat at you soon.

    Good evening everyone. I feel like i just can't get back on track. End of the school year is always tough. I didn't weigh in this week but I will next week. That is my goal to be back on track next week. I am still trying to catch up on all the messages. Lots going on with everyone. It's starting to get muggy here in STL. I went to turn on the AC and guess what... it didn't work. Bummer. I paid someone to fix it last fall but I only ran it about 2 days before the weather turned and I didn't need it. I am hoping the guy I paid will take that into consideration. Who knows.... Well it is late and I am off to bed.

    good morning sixers.....

    bright and early here in my house. both DH and i woke up fully rested and ready to go. hope at noon we don't drop. made a pot of turbo dunkin donuts coffee. i got a free sample. it's strong.

    i sold my first house last night. i don't think the buyers will accept the offer, it's real low. but, my buyer is willing to keep looking and wanting something he can close by end of month. so will be spending today looking. and this weekend going to see inside.

    off to eat breakfast, workout and shower and run to store, (didn't know milk was bad).

    ok, workout done what a great sweat again. loving this preset workout. it's only the first of 3 or 4. so should keep me sweating for awhile. i figure i will move on when 1 gets too easy for me.

    now off to the store and now son tells me he needs a splitter for the fax he's hooking up for me. and he has an interview today. yea....

    off into the world.

    AFM...Last night was good and bad. Bad because I ate more brownies! Good because they are almost gone! AND good because I got in an EXCELLENT run with the new jogging stroller and I absolutely LOVE it!!!! Going to do the same tonight! I also did my 15 minute Ab workout!! YAY!!! Stepped on the scale this morning and my unofficial weigh-in in 172.5! So...That's down 1.5 pounds since Tuesday! Hoping to work hard this weekend and see an even lower number to start out week 6!

    Plan today:
    B-oatmeal, 1/2 c. skim milk, 2 c. coffee, 4 tbsp. sugar-free creamer
    S-sweet&salty peanut bar
    L-Leftover Tuscan sun-dried tomato chicken, baby carrots, light yogurt, brownie (1/20th of the batch!)
    S-golden delicious apple
    D-????? I don't know. I think I'm going to make a big salad. My husband will be working late tonight, so I'm on my own. Need to go grocery shopping. Only meat I have in the freezer is chicken which I had last night. So, probably just a big salad! :)

    Exercise:
    2 mile run with Kadence!!!! YAY!!!! And 15 minute Upper Body workout! Then hopefully relaxing in the hot tub!!! MUCH needed!

    Hey sixers,

    Getting up and around this morning not feeling rested at all very tempted to go get some caffine, but have gone just under 2 weeks with no caffine and feel pretty good. I am trying to plan out our weekend my work schedule is a little off this weekend, and I know DH wants to get out golfing so grandma and grandpa may be watching dd. Maybe we can make that Saturday night so we can have a date night... that would be nice.

    We have a busy morning once we get going need to walk to the store to get something for dinner tonight, I am thinking bbq sandwiches or roast we will see, but then my dd has speech therapy at 11 so hopefully she is more willing to work today than yesterday.

    Well hope to get to personals later, but better get going I hear dd now babbling away in her crib.

    Gosh I am still so sorry I havent been around. And now its about to get even less frequent for a few days. I am leaving for Sea Base today, except my family and I are pit stopping in North Carolina for a four night mini Vacation, (A VERY DESPERATELY NEEDED 1!) So I will still log in, but it may be a few day before I post. I should be @ Sea Base on the 21st or 22nd! Wish me safe travels guys! I love all of you! Keep up with your fitness goals!!!!!!
