sagging skin after 76 pound weight loss

my start weight was 246. i start losing weight at age 21 im now 23 and now weigh 170 pounds and when i do girly push ups my skin from my stomach hangs down a lot. it makes me so mad! what can i do to make it tighten up? Please i dont need a quick fix like wrapping saran wrap around me that doesn't work!! im wondering about getting a treadmill. (i do not belong to a gym) any ideas on exercise equipment that will help this ie elliptical vs treadmill vs bike? thanks

Lift weights....light heavy....lots of posts on this site about it.
Also, do planks to tighten the abs....takes some time, but you are young, so should bounce back!!!0 -
Skin takes times to retract. There is nothing you can do to speed it up. Building up the muscle behind it can obviously help to fill it out, but with that kind of weight loss, it will only help but so much.
Time is the only factor, and even then, it may not ever fully retract. It's not what you want to hear, but that's how it works.0 -
Elliptical machine is easy on the joints and you get a good burn if the resistance not too low. I actually feel more energized after using it compared to running on a treadmill which beats up your body. But it's good to switch it up from time to time..0

My skin started sagging as I lost weight also. My arms started looking better after 5 months or so. The skin took time to retract. My hubby told me I was losing tone but... the skin was sagging. My thighs are saggy and wearing a skirt looks funny so... I am waiting for the skin to get tighter. I do agree with weights and cardio on saggy places but... I think the skin will just take time to retract.0
