To go over your protein on the MFP food diary? I am under on calories, fat and carbs. Thanks for the help!

    I go over on protein almost every day. As long as you don't get kidney stones, you'll be fine =).

    Many say that the default recommendations for protein are quite low....so occasionally going over probably won't be the end of the world.

    I am not a physician or nutritionist but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
  • I was concerned about too much protein (gotta protect those kidneys) also. I spoke with a registered dietician. The formula to use is : .8mg/kg/day.
