Hi All,
I'm Melissa. New to Fitness Pal. I have lost 60 lbs, and have been plateauing the past 9 months, 5-10 lbs, gaining and losing the same amount each week. I have tried weight watchers, nutralife, and a personal trainer (which got too expensive).
I am here to figure out how I can regain control over my eating and loose the rest of my weight.
If you have any tips that have helped you, please let me know, as I need a buddy to help me through this hard time!
Thanks, and I look forward to "meeting" some of you!

Hi Melissa,
I am new here too previously lost about a stone but slowly creeping back up I need to lose abot 3 stones, I am going to be a bridesmaid at my best friends wedding in July and my pic is the dress I will be wearing but in gold,
like you I have tried many diets including the cambridge diet which was soooo expensive now I just need to eat the right amount of food and excercise and I know I can do it.
All I can say is be determined and look at the long term goal as nothing tastes as good as slim feels!!! that's my motto. Good luck0 -
Hello!
I'm also new and have a similar goal to Melissa, I was previously 2 1/2 stone lighter until I met my husband and stopped going to the gym and the weight has creeped back on.
It's my best friends wedding in October and the other 2 bridesmaids her sisters are both size eights, when I tried the dress on (a gold dress) it was a bit of a reality check that I needed to sort my life out and start getting healthy.
I would also like to get fit and try for a family soon and feel better about myself, looking forward to talking to some of you to share tips!0
