Need a kick in the *kitten*!

About a year ago I was within a couple pounds of my goal weight. Feeling good, focusing on fitness, etc.

Then I had a few life changes -new job, etc. that caused me to not focus on myself, my eating habits, etc. I was under a lot of stress, not sleeping well, not eating, etc.

I gained back 10 lbs of the weight I had lost and have not been able to refocus. I have been hovering between this 10 and 12 lb gain but I just can't seem to find the motivation within me to start losing again.

My new job is a restaurant research & development so everyday is spent trying and eating new recipes (it's a burger restaurant so lots of high fat food). My family still wants me to eat with them at night too.

Help me get over this slump and get me losing again!

I don't necessarily think anyone does that here. But I hope you can figure something out with your job. I found the only way to stay under the calories is to switch to yogurt and fruit for breakfast and drinking water. Then the lunch and dinner don't seem so bad and it can fit under the calories even if a person doesn't exercise.

Also, I have found that now that I make a concerted effort to exercise for the full forty minute break I get, then I have it all under control.

So far, I've lost fifteen pounds in about five weeks. I think that's amazing and I owe it to reporting in to this site. Good luck.
