Determined to make the best of myself

I have always struggled with weight but this year was particularly stressful.
Good to be busy - but it took its toll!

I am looking to lose quite a lot - hopefully 20 kilos and try and stay healthy.

It's time to start living!!

    Yay for you for getting on MyFitnessPal!! This is a great step!!! Now that I know you're on here, I have to keep trying harder, too!! Have you set an exercise goal for the week? I have found that I can eat well and be satisfied with what I eat IF I maintain my exercise routine regularly. It's amazing that regular exercise does so much for my health: helps me crave less crappy foods, burns off excess calories so I can eat yummy things and still lose weight, kicks off my stress, helps me sleep better, smooths out my moodiness. I gotta say EXERCISE has helped me more than anything. But MFP also helps me pay attention to how much I eat and to watch it! MFP motivates me to exercise so I can eat whatever I want! ha ha ha!

    Hope that helps. I have lost 18 pounds (started before I joined MFP) since Dec '11, so I was very unhappy with how I looked/felt. I definitely look/feel better now--though I still wanna lose another 8 pounds. and KEEP IT OFF!
