I don't know about the it works ones, I've had a few friends swear by them but I've heard most of them just dehydrate you. I had one done in a spa that said an average of 10 inches lost on most people, I only lost 2.5 inches that came back in a few days.

Sorry, I can see I need to be a bit clearer.

    They don't work.

    They do nothing.

They are a waste of money.

    Waste of money.
  • I like them but it is not a replacement for diet and exercise. They do not dehydrate you and it will not cause weight loss but for most it causes inch loss. Actually feels like a spa treatment. You can't really reuse them because there is a special cream on each wrap.
My personal experience - first one I dropped about an inch immediately after the wrap with a total of 3 inches by day 3. It was still gone 2 weeks later. My niece lost 6 inches. Works differently for everyone.
As far as the cost $25 is the retail price but if you know someone who sells them they can tell you how to get them at a better price. If you are curious purchase one to see if it works for you.

I used something dcalled a "belly bandit" after I had a C-section....I didn't use it to try to lose weight or inches...I used it to hold my stomach so that if I coughed or sneezed or something I didn't feel like my stomach was going to pop apart....for that it was very helpful and well worth the money...So I would argue that they aren't "useless" or a "waste of money" if your are using it after childbirth for a c-section....for weightloss, I can't really see any value.

The only people who have "success" with these are very overweight and have sodium and sugar filled diets. They lose about 5lbs of water weight and that's useless. Eat less, move more. End of story
  • They're a bunch of bunk and hype...and the company It Works is shady as all get out.
  • They're a short term cosmetic fix for if you're going to an event and need to fit into a dress or something like that, not a weight loss technique (because the minute you drink and eat again, the water weight you lost comes back.)

I tried one once along with 2 friends. Myself and one of the other girls both bloated and my measurements were about 2 inches bigger for about a week. Not to mention that my stomach didn't feel right for almost a week because of the bloating. Total waste in my opinion.

The only thing these wraps are good for is making money for the seller.

It's not real weight loss. Maybe good if you want to LOOK slimmer for an event the next day, but real weight loss comes from consuming less calories and burning more-no easy way around it.
