OK...so I find that I am pretty decent during the week...online logging everything I am eating...and then the weekend rolls around and I let it fall. This past weekend was my bachelorette party and lets just say it was a great night out with the girls and I wasn't counting a thing! Then that just continued into Sunday...and as awful as it is to say Monday as well. To top it off...I have had a cough for a while now and just recently pulled a muscle in my rib...so I can not work out and need to rely SOLEY on counting cals. So I need all the help I can get!!!! Any tips...suggestions...motivation for staying on track through the weekend!!! Thank you!!!!

Well, my first suggestion is to get support. Why don't you join us on the Skinny Saturday Challenge? It is located under Motivation and Support. A new thread is posted each Friday night. There is also a Skinny Wednesday Challenge to help you get over the hump with success.

Take one day at a time. I know you can do this! You deserve it!:flowerforyou:0 -
Jessica, congrats on getting married.... suggestion -- follow the Body For Life diet plan (www.BodyForLife.com) -- it allows you "free days" on the weekend... you just maintain a good diet during the week, and on the weekend, you can have one or two free days where you eat anything -- it gives you freedom... You will notice that after a few weeks into the routine of exercise and eating right, you won't want to binge so much on the weekend, because you don't want to waste the effort of the week's work. But you can still splurge with the candy bar, and the ice cream, or the Nutella
, if you want to.... It's all about simple 5th grade math -- calories in minus calories out...

Cheat a little during the week so you don't feel like you have to 'make it thru' the weekend. And give yourself a break...every now and then a splurge doesn't hurt so put it behind you and look forward!!! The longer you count calories the more routine it becomes and the easier it becomes! Clean out the junk from your kitchen and keep a healthy snack w/you all the time! You can do it!0
