Losing very slowly

Hey everyone! I have been doing this for two weeks now and staying under my calorie allowance everyday and going to the gym everyday as well for at least 45 minutes. I know it has only been two weeks but I've only lost 0.4 pounds. Why is this going so slowly? I have dieted and exercised many times before but this is the time I am working the hardest and it's disappointing to not be losing as much as many of my friends also doing this program who haven't been going to the gym as often. I'm not going to give up but do you guys have any reasons why I'm not losing as much? Thanks so much!!

Just want to make sure are you eating your exercise calories back, up to your net goal, and are you making sure to not net under 1200 calories. I dont know why but for two weeks or so I was eating at like 800 cal a day and I only lost a pound and then upped my calories to 1200 a day and I lost 4 lbs in a week so I would just make sure you are netting no lower than 1200 cal0

Hey, a few things come to mind as I read your post. Are you working out 7 days aweek?? if so you should to allow for a day break and let your body have a day off to recover from your solid efforts. Also 45 min per day is alot of sweat so maybe you could look at water intake and up your water. I also saw you stated that you are always below your cal intake, maybe top up your numbers with some veg or protein.
Good luck0 -
great, thanks guys so much for your help! I am eating more than 1200 but I am not eating all of my exercise calories back so maybe I should start doing that, thanks. And I have been working out 7 days but I will make sure to take a day off from now on. I will also be sure to drink more water, thanks for all your suggestions!!0

All I can tell you is to stick with it. Don't be in too big of a rush. The weight will eventually come off. It's simply science. One suggestion though....only weigh yourself once a month. Avoid the scale otherwise. Everyone loses differently and weight loss like you have experienced is common.
Good luck and STICK WITH IT!!!!0 -

Great! Thanks so much guys, I'll be sure to keep positive, eat all of my calorie allowance, and only weigh myself sporadically. Thanks to everyone, I feel better already!0
