I am just wondering if anyone else tried to log in yesterday around 4:30 (ahem right before dinner) and was greeted by the message saying the site was down temp. for some work?

Did you freak out?

LOL... yeah I sure did. When I got home from work the first thing I said to my boyfriend was, "MFP is down for maintenance!". He litteraly said, "Wow, you must be freaking out?"

 Of all the adictions we could have MFP at least has the potential to be a positive one.

I didn't freak out but I hadn't entered all my calories for the day so I wasn't sure what to eat. HAHAHAHA.

I was so happy when it came back up and decided to start logging everything start of day and printing it out so if something like this happens again it won't matter.

Strangely, I don't think the iPhone app was down. Actually, what's strange is that I would know.

LOL It's funny that we are all so addicted.

For me, either the night before when I am packing my meals for work I enter it all to see if I need to add or subtract food, or first thing in the morning I enter all my food for the most part. So last night when I went to log on at 4:30, it was just to see what was going on, on my wall.

When I got the msg, I thought to myself, Oh man I bet there are a lot of people losing their *kitten*. lol

Thankfully it all seems to be up and running fine for me today.

I must agree!!! It's brilliant for helping to plan food intake for the next day!! :)
  • Yeah, I freaked out a little. I thought, "BUT WHAT IS GOING TO STOP ME FROM GORGING MYSELF ON INDIAN FOOD NOW?!" And then I realized I could stop myself. haha.

Ha. I was okay until I got home from my 2nd job and was trying to log on around 10pm and my internet was being wonky & I thought the site was still down. That's when I lost my mind & declared, "OH MY GOD, I'M GOING TO GET SO FAT!!" My bf nonchalantly responded, "I think you can just write it down on a piece of paper, darlin'."

I just kept thinking about how much time I spend trying to eat certain macronutrient percentages and how I didn't want to have to adjust to a different online food log to do that. My head was spinning. And then MFP popped up and I double checked my dinner log and all was right with the world.
