Fruit and Veggie Powders

Hi Everyone. I'm trying really hard to increase my fruit and vegetable intake. I'm interested in knowing if any of you have tried the fruit and veggie powders in shakes, etc. I like fruits and vegetables but they are hard to keep handy (I work 12 hour shifts and don't get to the store often) and sometimes don't have a lot of time to cook. Just curious if anyone has a favorite brand and how you use them. Thanks for your input.

  • i am on a liquid diet for 2 meals a day (green smoothies) and one very low fat meal a day. this is not as much for weight loss as for my slow stomach. I tried adding greens like spinach kale etc in to my smoothies and i couldn't do it..they tasted bad...so i now use GREENS by ITWORKS. it has a ton of greens and 32 superfoods in it that i could never get in to a smoothie by just adding greens...and it adds no taste. my nutritionalist was find w/ it. as for the fruit i just use frozen stuff and i buy a lot of that in bulk from
