can someone explain to me about bmr?

I dropped two more pounds today and was looking at my bmr it said to lose the amount of pounds a week I want to do I need 1,541 calories. can someone explain this to me? what I need to do?

You use energy no matter what you're doing, even when sleeping. Your BMR Basal Metabolic Rate; the number of calories you'd burn if you stayed in bed all day....
Once you know your BMR, you can calculate your Daily Calorie Needs based on your activity level using the Harris Benedict Equation...

I just did this but I'm having a really hard time believing that I'm supposed to be consuming over 2300 calories a day. That seems crazy! And why would MFP suggest I only eat 1200 per day when this website says I need more? I dont think I've ever averaged over 2000 calories a day, even when I gained all this weight
I jdon't know what I should do, so confused!

my bp is 152.7% according to the information I need to eat 1,537 calories for my bmr.0
