So my sister gave me her old copy of P90 after she purchased p90x, but there are no instructions in the DVD case. I am not sure when I am suppose to do the Cardio and when the Sculpt and then the Ab ripper? Then what is the 1-2 vs 3-4? Are there two workouts of each on each DVD? Sorry, I am just confused and my sister is out of town and I can't get in touch with her. Thanks for any help in understanding this!

You alternate sweat and sculpt.....so sweat one day and sculpt the next. You do each 3 times a week. An ripper starts immediately after sweat. The I/II is just the level. You do I until you feel ready to move on.

    Hope that makes sense!

    I started out with Power90 on Dec 6, 2010

    I lost 22 lbs & 16.5" in 90 Days - with a very strict meal plan

You alternate the workouts for 45 days - 6 times a week. You do Cicruits 1&2 first

    Sculpt 1-2
    Sweat 1-2 & Ab Ripper 100

After 45 Days or whenever you are ready, you switch to Circuits 3 & 4

    Sculpt 3 - 4
    Sweat 3 - 4 & Ab Ripper 200

    The only difference with 3 & 4 - It's more reps, and at a faster pace - with less talkin' - from 1 &2.

Best wishes & Have fun

Start out with the 1/2 DVDs until you feel like you can safely advance to 3/4. It does not have to be at Day 45...just whenever you can.

I did Sculpt 1/2 Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with Sweat 1/2 Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I also liked to do Ab Ripper 100 after the sweat DVD. I didn't do anything on Sundays.

When you feel you can advance, just do the same rotations as above with the 3/4 DVDs.

I did Power 90 in 2007 and went from a size 14 down to a 10 in my 90 days of doing it. As long as you do the workouts and eat right, you should see great results!

I'm on day 20 of Power 90. For starting out one very important thing I can say is this. During your first week don't worry so much about how many reps you can do. Concentrate on your form and doing the exercises correctly. Take your time and listen to your body if something hurts. I'm not an expert but always willing to help if you have any questions. Add me if you'd like and good luck !!

  • Same story, I found The Beachbody website to be very helpful.
