      Someone tried that earlier today with the Afterlife thread. Looks like the mods (Scott at least) are actually reading threads before locking them now.

      I definitely agree. However, all it takes is a couple of people acting an *kitten* in a thread, and turning it into something it was never meant to be, and it could easily be shut down.
