Best heart monitor and why?

I'm looking to purchase one soon and I need opinions. What do you use, why do you lke it? Do you wish you bought a different brand/model? Input please :)

    Suunto, Garmin and Polar all make good stuff, just find the one that has the features you want.

    I have a Suunto. I wish I had one with GPS, but I'm not willing ot spend that kind of money. Aside from that, I've been more than pleased.
  • I have the polar ft40 and LOVE IT! I bought mine off of ebay for a huge discount. I also have the flow link which allows me to upload my workout data to a database so I can keep track.
  • I have a Garmin FR70. It does not have a GPS but it counts calories and heart rate and wirelessly uploads to the Garmin website to keep a log. I paid about $100 but I love it and think it was worth every penny.
