It feels like im never going to be skinny...

I didnt know where to put this but 2 months in i lost 20lbs and now im about 200 lbs but it just feels like i will never get skinny my goal weight is 170 but i was never skinny in my whole life... at 170 ill be either skinny or almost there but it just seems ill never get there..

You don't gain weight overnight, and you won't lose it so quickly, either. Losing 20 pounds in two months is really impressive. Keep going! And it's not about being skinny. It's about liking the way your body looks and feels.0

I used to be 250 and lost 60 lbs and then hit a plateau for awhile and then i gave up and gained 30lbs back but now i am back down to the weight i was before im just scared ill hit another plateau and give up again0

You are almost halfway to your goal then! I know it's hard to keep going, and it feels like it's never going to happen, but it will! It takes lots of time and patience to keep on going eating unexciting foods. But don't lose heart and give up! If you need, take a week off and eat not too bad, but count it as a break. Then get back to it. Three years ago I lost 50 pounds, which was halfway of my goal weight. Then I slowly gained it all back plus some. Right now I'm still trying to get back to my old starting weight. You might want to give up right now, but you don't want to regret giving up three months down the road. You can definitely do this!0

Oh, you'll get there if you just take one day at a time. It's sometimes difficult to stay motivated when you constantly look at or think about the "big picture" (i.e. your ultimate goal). Instead, why not break down your weight loss journey into smaller, more easily-reached goals. If you have thirty pounds to lose, why not chart it out in five pound increments? Make a new chart (however you want it to look) and cross out each pound as you lose it. If you take the diet in small steps, you'll reach your final goal before you know it! Remember to reward yourself along the way...losing weight takes a lot of effort and dedication - make it worth it by utilizing small, non-food related rewards. Make this journey fun for yourself!0
