Day one, done!

Without smoking! Not a huge milestone, but I have to do the happy dance here!
While technically not a "fitness" success in the typical sense, it's a step in the right direction towards a new, healthier lifestyle!:wink:

    oh that's wonderful...after day three it will be so much easier. And after that you'll wonder why you smoked in the first place. Keep up the great work!! =)

    A day IS a big deal! It's the start of a new pattern. Each subsequent day you fight the urge to smoke is a day you get closer to being totally free of nicotine and it's emotional attachment.

    I quit October 2008, and I rarely think about it now. Helps that ALL public places are smoke-free. I'll get the urge for a smoke maybe once every few weeks or months, but it's so mild that it's almost a joke. I know it feels FAR from that for you now. But just wait until you go to take a jog and you feel like you're flying because you have so much oxygen! :)
