You would be surprised. I transcribe imaging reports for the local hospital, and there are all kinds of foreign objects ending up in all kinds of bizarre places. I think there's an associated mental disorder that also links to violent crimes because we often get patients from the special offenders unit at the local prison who poke things into bizarre places, like pen cartridges through belly buttons into the abdomen as well as the penis.
