St. Patricks day.

Green beer, leperchauns, and pots of gold are far better than fuzzy teddies, roses, and some creepy baby with wings.

St. Patrick's Day is legitimately my favorite holiday.

I love beer (obviously), I love that the focus of the day is pretty much beer, I'm fob Irish so it's okay to be pale and freckly, the weather is JUST starting to get nice, or it's in the weird thaw of being nice before another snowstorm, people are all tipsy or drunk so everyone's happy, etc. etc.

And green is my favorite color.

Seriously. I love St. Patrick's Day.

St. Patrick's Day for sure. Whiskey + beer > chocolate + flowers :drinker:

Americans don't need a reason to drink beer. Wednesday is reason enough.

I cannot see Valentines day even comparing to St. Patrick's day! There is not even a Valentines day parade, except of *kitten* to halmark to buy cards and candy...

Give me some Guinness, Jameson, and Corned Beef!

It's a toss up between St. Patrick's Day and the 4th of July. They both have beer, so it's a toss up between red heads and fireworks . . . so not much difference there.

Ha! as a natural redhead, I enjoy this truthful statement

I take umbrage at considering the 4th of July a "mid tier" holiday.

Fireworks, BBQ, swimming, fireworks, day off work, no stressful gift-shopping, and oh yes, fireworks. My favorite holiday.

Easter. There are chocolates and bunnies, and it marks the beginning of spring. I actually don't celebrate Easter but I do celebrate spring.

I agree with St Patrick's Day. I look forward to it every year. Parade, beer, friends...it doesn't get better.

IDK if I'd call the 4th a second tier holiday lol..Memorial Day either...but if you do, definitely Memorial Day....St. Patrick's Day for sure...and particularly if you can be in New Orleans for it...Mardi Gras.......same reason as St. Patrick's Day....Drinks!

I would say Memorial Day, but I work at a cemetery that is considered a veterans memorial park as well so I end up working. I will go with Labor day. I get the whole day off and it's still nice enough to go camping for the weekend.
