    WINE! LOTS OF IT!
  • I've promised myself a bikini for the 20 pound mark, and for weight loss and making it through college, I've considered having laser hair removal.

The only reward I did was getting my hair cut and highlighted. I don't have anymore rewards set up. I guess I am weird. i buy clothes as i need them.

Shoes, clothes, exercising equipment, new workout dvd's. Right now I'm waiting on my big goal reward to come in, which is a Nikon D5000 dslr camera.

For every 5 lbs, an inexpensive pair of earrings. I have different rewards for every 10 lbs. Also, I plan to take an overnight trip out of town when I hit onderland.

I literally waited until I had lost 90 pounds before I bought new clothes. I looked absolutely horrific in clothes that were a good 4-6 sizes too big. I suggest buying at least one item each time you drop a size. Now I have about 90-100 pieces in my current size, which is six sizes down from where I started. I'm hoping to go down another 2 sizes but I know it will be very slowly at this point. I'm so much more confident and happy wearing clothes that fit well and show off a body I have worked hard for!!

Before I decided to start getting clothes I did workout stuff; Dumbbells, HRM, hydration pack, workout gloves, sports bras, etc. It's also awesome to just do something fun for yourself or with your family/S.O.!

Good luck on hitting 40 pounds lost!!! I'm sure you can do it!!! ????????

When I dropped below 300 (for the first time in about 30 years) I bought myself a pet fish. A Betta.
There has to be a 'scales' joke in there somewhere, it just won't come to me

    Anything but food!

Clothes as I lost weight (even if from thrift stores, they were new to me), a pretty set of dishes that reminds me to continue eating properly (after I'd lost a considerable amount), kitchen tools that make cooking healthy food at home easier or fun.

Doesn't matter what it is, or whether you might have purchased it eventually anyway, as long as it motivates you to keep progressing toward your goal.

I lost 14 lbs and went for a "anything goes" meal. That turned into a week of binging. I am now back on track (thankfully) but for others reading this thread, take others advice...treat yourself to something nice, fo you. Food wasn't the answer for me, an it tripped me up xx good luck everyone x

I've been coming up with these as I've gone along. So these things are stemming from new activities I'm liking or want to pick up again. I don't have many set up. I'm sure the farther along I go, I'll come up with more. I think they're particularly helpful when I start to feel my motivation fade.

    15- Jumprope
    20- Ipod Armband
    30- Bike lock
