any suggestions...

I am trying to get away from all the pre-packaged, processed food and NO eating out - but I have a few challenges

1. I have always been a picky eater who doesn't eat seafood, spicey foods or anything exotic. I used to never eat fruits and veges but I am finally working them into my daily life
2. I have two boys who are so used to my old ways that now as I try new things that are healthy they freak out and won't eat.
3. I'm not the best cook so I have a hard time just creating something.

I am able to follow a recipe but I don't know and good websites that will allow me to cook something healthy and still be to mine and my family's liking.

Anyone have any thoughts?? (besides being less picky)

I get quite a few recipes from kraft.com and foodnetwork.com. You have to do a little hunting since the healthier recipes are mixed in with the not so healthy recipes. My husband doesn't like when I make the super healthy stuff, so I try to find healthier foods that can be "disguised" as our usual type of food.

As mentioned, skinnytaste.com has some interesting looking recipes too!

The Kraft website has lots of easy recipes that have familiar ingredients and seem family friendly. You have to pick and choose the healthy level but lots of them are and all things can be modified with more nutritious ingredients.

skinnytaste web site and blog would be my recommendation. One other is to make a breakfast, lunch that fits your tastes and calorie sturcture and eat the same thing every day. Let the food become boring. same ole same ole. Start to think of food as fuel and nothing more.
    Best to you
