I LOVE Arden, but my husband won't go for it if we have a girl in the future. Arianna is nice as well.

My daughters name is Nikita, she used to hate it and went by Niki, but she is starting to use the full name now (she's 15 and decided she doesn't want to be another Niki)

My first son I name Padon (Pay-don) after the main character in Silverado. My wife say that is me to a tee.

My daughters name is Ava, but I also love the name Sylvia.
  • I wasn't going to respond to this as someone who doesn't like kids, but I wanted to see what the next generation is going to name their offspring. And let me just say, I was not impressed with the list thus far [just my opinion, I know].

Anyways, these were the suggestions that I preferred:
I've always loved the name Rose.
Sophie or Sophia are my faves
    I have a Jessica...but i always liked olivia, lily...

One of my favorite names, I was surprised to see, was suggested:
My daughter's name is Gwendolyn or Gwen for short...

For what it is worth, I think that Rose makes a delightful middle name and has a good cadence with any multi-syllabic given name that doesn't have a hard 'O' sound.

    Emily Rose. Gwendolyn Rose.

For some reason, almost all the girl's names I like end in 'a'.
    Eva
    Ava
    Ella
    Isla
    Mya

I have a much harder time thinking up boy's names that I like.

We have a son, but if we'd had a girl her name would have been Geneva Kathyrn. Family name, and Geneva has always been my absolute favorite for a girl.

Alas i love the name Lily - but my mate named his daughter that.

I really like Holly and Rose - but everyone would know i named her Rose after Rose in Dr Who and it is a little to obvious!

For boys names, Robert, Edward, John (but my partners name is smith... and i couldn't name the poor bloke John Smith), Christopher, Michael, David, Stephen - i am really boring and love traditional names.... which thinking about it lots of my mates have those names!

LOL...this topic will find it's way into ANY website. I even have it on my business website...made my hubby put it in and he TOLD me it was unrelated but of course put it anyway.

Anyway for a girl how about Mariah Felicia Patricia jones (or gonzales, or jackson, or nguyen, or whatever.)

Just in honor of where you are asking for the advice.
