What to add to my grocery list?

Options
Tomorrow is shop day, and Im only buying healthy, nutrient rich foods. I have co-op so it has to be easy to prepare in advance food that I can take on the go.

I have my breakfast (I have oatmeal and such so no breakfast food on my list) I also don't eat rice of any sort, so no grain sides.

Apples
Baby spinach
Bananas
Blueberries
Broccoli
Cantaloupe
Carrots
Cauliflower
Celery
Chicken breast
Cucumbers
Eggs
Legumes
Milk
Mushrooms
Peppers
Raspberries
Strawberries
Tuna
Watermelon
Yogurt

    I would add:

    Natural peanut butter
    almonds (or other nuts)
    low fat string cheese
quinoa (don't know if you classify this as a grain side)
    tomatoes
    oranges/clementines
lemons (juice for flavoring foods and water)

How about some liver, it's one of the most nutrient dense foods you can get

    Thanks for the suggestions!

Nuts are out of the question - I do co-op in a childcare center and cant bring them or peanut butter.

Ill take the rest into consideration for sure!

Cottage cheese - I love the stuff

Onions, tomatoes and pasta - couldn't cook/live without them.

    Spaghetti Squash!!!

You can eat it as pasta!! Only 40 calories a cup, verses 200 calories for regular pasta.

    It's amazingly good and filling!

Use some Light Ragu and whatever meat you think would go good with it.

    YUMMM!

Have you tried Mediterranean Snacks' Baked Lentil Chips? They're gluten free, no rice (although I never heard of anyone who was unable to eat rice), no saturated or trans fats, and 110 calories per 1 oz. serving. They're high in protein compared to other chips: 4g per serving. They contain no sugar and 3 g of fiber. I love them with hummus.

Have you tried other grains such as farro? It's a much older, not genetically altered form of wheat and much lower in gluten. I cook it like rice--steamed or risotto-style. It's chewy and delicious hot or cold.

Lean meats other than chicken breast (pork loin, beef sirloin steak, lamb leg steak, fish,) and some more whole grain foods (bread, quinoa, buckwheat, , whole grain noodles, whole grain munchies)
