Cheers to MFP!!!!

I just want to say that MFP single handedly taught me how to change my life.

From teaching me how to count calories, to using a scale and measuring cups.

For helping me understand how many calories I can eat.

For helping me understand that I can eat back some, if not all, of my exercise calories.

For giving me these forums to read and learn from. Although not all the info on here is accurate, I am smart enough to weed out the incorrect info.

For helping me understand that I am not alone in this journey.

For letting me know that I CAN DO IT!!!

BIG BIG BIG BIG THANK YOU TO MYFITNESSPAL!!!!!!!!

  • YES indeed!! I find that I am excited to look forward to adding food to my diary and see where I am at in my fat, my sugar, calories, etc. WE have a choice as to what to eat and I love that. I've dropped 7 lbs the healthy and safe way and I couldn't be more appreciative of MFP! Wonderful app and I think everyone that wants to lose a bit of weight and be healthy, should give it a go!
Always looking for more friend to push and shove my in the right direction, so add me if you wish!!

    ADDITION:

Even though I am at my goal weight and maintaining, I will continue to log my food and exercise everyday.

I have been a member since Jan 7-8, 2012 and have not missed a day of logging. And I do NOT plan on missing a day in the future.

I totally agree. It's a crime they don't teach this stuff in our schools.

It is much easier to bring your children for fast food than it is to cook properly for them. Teaching them bad habits from the time they are born. Something we are all guilty of.
