Hey guys!
I'm looking for fellow runners to be my friends.
I started running again in Nov last year, and will hopefully be able to complete my first 10k without walking breaks on the 24th this month.
I don't have many runners in my friends list. So if you are a person that can motivate his/her friends on MFP and gives regular feedback, please add me

Feel free to add me. not sure I qualify as a runner but I've been running 5-10k 3-4 times a week for about a year now. (after giving it up in my 20s in favor of other forms of exercise).

You can add me; I've run the Warrior Dash twice (5K with obstacles) and I am currently training for my first half marathon...if I can get my hip healthy again (have a little shooting pain in it from "over use")...I will be back to training...I've been training for 14 weeks and hate taking this even short time off; my race is in March.
I also ran another 5K in Dec., the Reindeer Romp in 24:01, I think that qualifies me as a "Serious Runner"0 -
I am currently training for a half marathon in June. I'm signed up for a 5K next month, and I am looking at a 10K trail run in May. Good Luck!0

You can add me too if you like. I've done a couple of 5Ks, have a 4 miler at the end of this month and am doing the Cooper River Bridge (10K) run in April. Still have a hard time as thinking of myself as a runner as I'm still pretty new at it and am slow but at least I'm trying.0

Send a request! I have been running for about a year now. I will be doing half marathon #2 in April and have started training for a marathon (I think I have gone crazy!!). I also love to do 5K obstacles :drinker:0

I am training for my first full marathon in April. I am very dedicated and LOVE to motivate and inspire others, which I have been told a billion times I do well

I've been working lately at running at a lower heart rate (180 - age, so 138 in my case) to work on building my aerobic base, and it has made me love running even more.0

Hi, I started running in the morning before work. For now it's at least 2 miles but I want to get it up to 3 miles (almost a 5K) pretty soon. Add me if you want.0

I would be interested in hearing how you are doing that. When I run my HR is usually really high almost the entire time. I'm already slow so I'm not sure what else I can do to work on lowering it.0 -

I've been running for several years. So far for 2013 I've done a 10k and 2 half marathons, with another half marathon coming up next weekend and a full in June. Add me if you like.0
