Halfway there. Not sure if it’s a success story yet, but I’m pretty proud. I’m 19, and 5.10. Always was the big girl with a pretty face. Went through high school at about 205-215, always a size 14 at American Eagle. After graduating in 2011 and going through a breakup, I began to eat a lot more, and out a lot more. The summer of 2012 I reached my max weight of about 265 pounds give or take. I wore size 18 at American Eagle and size 20 shorts at Old Navy. I was not happy. Grant it I had a good relationship with a Sailor who was 5.5 and 125 pounds… just imagine the looks we got. July 8th 2012 I started this journey. I cut cold turkey on drinking, fast food, and soda. Started MFP July 30th 2012. My goal was to lose 100 pounds in 1 year. July 12’- July 13’. Not sure if I will reach it yet, but I will eventually. I will have fast-food on a rare occasion, and I do drink a Diet Mountain Dew from time to time. I am human.
Today I am 206 pounds. A size 12 at American Eagle, and a 13 at Pacsun. (Juniors cut). My bra size went from a 38-40DD to a 36D. I went from a men’s x-large jacket to a men’s small and T-shirt’s are now a men’s medium.
It’s been slow. But I am not giving up. I’m losing weight because I love my body, not because I hate it.
I attached some comparisons I did throughout the last month that I posted on Facebook.
Feel free to add me on here.![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)
