Hi everybody, I need to loose at least 60 pounds I'm starting to excesise everyday but my problem is with the food. I can't do a good diet because I don't like any salads or vegetables. So my weight loss is too slow. Can anybody recomend me any pill that can help me to loose weight a little bit faster. Something that can help me to accelerate my metabolisms and burn more fat.
Thank you
Thank you

Have patience to do it right. Find a diet that works for you and skip the pills. Studies incdicate most rapid weight lose people gain back as opposed to those who make healthier eating habits. Good luck!0

The only ones that work well are illegal unless you have a prescription for them, or illegal entirely. See your doctor about it, and he'll decide whether you need them or not.
Christ, I hate government regulation.0 -
You won't want to hear this, but there is no magic pill. Only hard work and consistency. You don't need to pound salads and vegetables. Eat at a caloric deficit, consistently and accurately track your calories and you will lose weight.0

any pill you take might cause you to lose weight. but, the moment you stop it WILL come back.0

I have no advice. Just a thought.
What do you suppose is going to happen if you do get weight loss pills that work?
You lose the weight, you go off the pills, you gain the weight, you go back on the pills, etc.0 -
as everyone is saying there are no magic pills, but there are certain things that if your diet is poor can help.
vitamins vitamins vitamins! fruit and vegetable supplements to complement your poor eiating habits and daily fiber and multivitamin, yes you will spend some money but at least you will be putting some of the right things into you and your body will thank you and if you continue to work out then you will start to feel healthy, getting fit has to start from the inside.0 -
OK, Thank You.
So, no pills for me!!! I'll keep doing my exercises and tracking calories.
How many calories I should eat to loose weight ??0 -

Or you can just suck it up and actually eat nutrient dense foods....0 -

That depends on your height and weight. Never, never eat under 1200. What did MFP recommend?0 -

Eat that, MFP creates a deficit for you. It assumes you do not exercise. So any exercise calories are a bonus, eat them.0 -
I used phentermine about 13 years ago to lose a lot of weight. I lost over 63 lbs in about 7 months. I did this with medical supervision. I was also exercising consistently and running, which helped me to keep it off for a while. However, when I went off the medication, I did not change any of my eating habits. I returned to eating the same unhealthy foods in huge quantities. I gained back all of the weight that I lost and have spent the last several years fighting my metabolism to get it back to something like normal. All that being said, I do not recommend the diet pills unless you are using them for a very short period of time to jump-start a real weight loss program. This time I am doing it the right way, without meds. Healthy eating and a good exercise program will get you where you want to be, it just might take you a little longer. Two big things I have learned: 1) There are no shortcuts to long-term weight loss. 2) Diets don't work...make lifestyle changes that will stay with you for the rest of your life but don't ever diet.
Good luck and God Bless!!0 -

You don't need to like vegetables/salad to lose weight. You need to stay under your calorie goal and move more. No pill is going to magically transform you. You may get energy from them to workout long/better/ect. If you do see an initial loss, it will likely be water weight. Losing weight doesn't have to be miserable. Eat what you like, but eat appropriate portions.0

Wait a minute here...
Someone asked about a dangerous diet idea, received good advice, and is following it???
:noway:
I thought we changed things around here?! I thought we all had to tell her whatever she did works for her and we support her every decision?!
I'm so confused.
(joking aside it's great to hear someone listening to the sound advice given. Stay away from gimmicks, eat the right amount of calories, and exercise. MFP is all you need)0 -

anything you buy in a store is a mishmash of diuretics/caffeine - so instead of paying like 50-60 dollars for a bottle, you could just buy caffeine pills if you feel so inclined, but as someone who pounded caffeine pills to get through med school, they are definitely acquired and cause jitters etc...
orlistat/phentermine are the only two prescribed FDA approved weightloss medications that are prescribed at the moment - i think there is another one in the works at the moment. You need to see a doctor for a prescription - how each different doctor prescribes them is totally up to them, and varies.
TLDR: dont waste money on things like hydroxycut etc... I take caffeine pills preworkout - but try them at your own risk, if you want real FDA approved weightloss pills gotta see a physician0 -

^This is fantastic advice IMO0 -
1. You can't because you say you can't
2. A healthy diet does not need to be based on salads and vegetables
3. Nothing is better to accelerate your metabolism than a balance of eating good, and exercising (Both cardiovascular and musle strength)
Now, go re-read #10 -
Do you like ANY veggies? Like others said you dont need to eat them to lose weight but it would help. There is a book too called sneaky chef that tells you how to sneak fruits and veggies into every day meals
The magic pill you should take is a multi vitamin and as a woman an iron supplement Esp if you dont make the best food choices this will help
The best thing IMO to do is to make small changes that you know you can stick with - switch out some processed foods for fresh ones, eliminate soda, watch one nutirent per week, etc. Sounds like you have a good attitude with this, so just use that to get yourself up and get moving to start, and you can add on more workouts/positive food changes from there!0 -
Oh, and by the way, I hate vegetables. Plants are what food eats. I learned a while back that I can survive on almost nothing but meat and protein bars, assuming I take a decent multivitamin to take care of the micros. It's expensive, but it works well for me.0

I hate salad. I find other ways to get my veggies. (and I get plenty of them). Sneak them into other foods, so that you don't miss out on the nutrients!0

I lost 30 lbs using Everslim and Everlax by Healthy People Co. It was awesome! Problem is, once I stopped I gained it all back, and fast. I tried taking it again but my body was immune to it since I took it for 4 months. I've seen and heard the same thing with many people that have taken this. You just have to do it the right way! I hate veggies, and love pizza more than anyone will ever know but I've joined a contest at my gym and find myself having to lose the weight, and doing it the right way.0
